Visit original tree as old as the universe - view of Mt. Namcha Barwa |

We
visit Kushuk Demdrug-the sacred tree of Bon, a magnificent specimen
(considered a juniper by Tibetans) perhaps 2,000-2,500 years old,
locals believe it to be the Original Tree, as old as the universe. The
drive to Sekyimla Pass, view the great Mt. Namche Barwa (7,700m) from
long distance. Afternoon reach Lulang Forest-Tibet's Shangri-La, taste
the famous Lulang Hot pot. Drive back to Ningchi. O/N hotel |

Nyingchi - Lhasa Tour |

Drive
back to Lhasa, if road and time permits, visit Basum Tso (famous with
its colorful water- so called Tibet's small Switzerland!). O/N hotel |

Day 06: Lhasa - Gyantse - Shigatse Tour |

Morning
drive to Gyantse via Yamdrok Lake ("Turquoise Lake") which is one of
the 3 holy lakes in Tibet), picnic lunch at lake side the drive to
Gyantse. We visit Kumbum stupa, Palkor Chouide Monastery and Gyantse
Dzong. After sightseeing tour we drive to Shigatse. O/N hotel |
