Lhasa, the capital city of the autonomous region Tibet, has regular flights with other major cities of China such as Beijing, Chengdu, Xian and Shanghai etc. This means that we can run every Tibet tour starting from mainland China and you can join us from any of these cities. There are numerous choices of tours which can be arranged according to your requirements.

For travelers starting tours from mainland China, you are required to obtain Chinese visa instead of Tibet visa. We will obtain the necessary permits. The Tibet travel permits will only be valid for the length of your tour. After ending the tour you can take a flight back either to mainland China or Kathmandu, or make the overland journey to Kathmandu via the Friendship Highway.
