Lhasa to Mt. Kailash and Lake Manasarovar Tour 20 Days

The Lhasa to Mt. Kailash & Lake Manasarovar tour starts with a flight to Lhasa from Kathmandu or from any of the major cities of China (Chengdu, Xian, Beijing, Shanghai etc). The program can be customized as per timeframe of the travelers or the places they would like to cover during the Tibet tour. The finishing point for this tour is normally Zhang-Mu, from where we need to take a four & half hours overland journey to Kathmandu.

We can customize the tour so that it ends either in Lhasa, Simikot (Western border of Nepal) or in Khasgar. But, the decision should be made before you make the reservation of the tour. This because we have to obtain a special permit to travel in this region, mentioning where we start our journey and were we finish it.

Day 1	Flight to Lhasa - meet at the airport and transfer to your hotel
Day 2	Sightseeing tour of Lhasa. We visit, Potala Palace, Sera Monastery and Norbulinka
Day 3	Sightseeing tour of Lhasa. We visit, Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple & Barkhor Square
Day 4	Drive, Lhasa / Shigatse via Northern highway. O/N Shigatse
Day 5	Visit Tashilunbo Monastery and drive to Lhatse. O/N Lhatse
Day 6	Lhatse / Sangsang, camp
Day 7	Sangsang / Saga, camp
Day 8	Saga / Paryang, camp
Day 9	Paryang / Mayum-La pass, camp
Day 10	Mayum-La pass / Darchen, guest house
Day 11	Darchen to Deraphuk Gomba - Trekking around Mt. Kailash
Day 12	Deraphuk Gomba to Zutul Phuk Gomba - Trekking around Mt. Kailash
Day 13	Finish trek and drive to Lake Manasarovar
Day 14	Rest at Lake Manasarovar, camp
Day 15	Manasarovar to Paryang , o/n camp
Day 16	Paryang to Saga, camp
Day 17	Saga to Peiku Lake, camp
Day 18	Peiku Lake to Nyalam, O/N guest house
Day 19	Drive, Nyalam / Zhangmu then drive back to Kathmandu.
